We make a range of biscuits and nut chews influenced by both Japanese and Western cuisine and ingredients. You can order these through our online shop to try at home.

Most of our biscuits and nut chews are packed with the natural goodness of nuts and/or seeds. The others are made in the same kitchen – please be aware of this if you have any nut allergy. We also use  dairy ingredients (butter and eggs). As the products are sweet we do include sugar and/or honey.

Green Tea & Almond Biscuits

The green colour of these biscuits comes from powdered green tea. It’s completely natural. Medical research increasingly reports health benefits from green tea. These are thought to be associated with the naturally occurring anti-oxidants found in the tea leaves. Now you can eat the tea as well as drink it! These biscuits are sweet tasting with just a hint of tea.

Crystallised Ginger Biscuits

The Japanese use ginger with savoury dishes is well known. But for these sweet biscuits we've crystallised our own ginger to get a distinct sweet but hot taste. Ginger has many reported health benefits. Crystallised ginger reportedly works for some people in treating travel sickness...just the reason to keep a pack of our Cyrstallised Ginger Biscuits in the car!

Nut & Seed Chews with Wolfberries

We mix a range of roasted nuts and seeds and give things an Oriental flavour by adding Wolfberry. Also known as Goji berry ("kuko no mi" in Japanese) this berry is getting a reputation as a "superfruit"  due to its nutrient and anti-oxidant content. We add Cranberries to enhance the flavour and goodness. Note: dried fruit may contain sulphites.

Nut & Seed Chews with Soyabeans

Many health benefits have been reported for soya products. Low in saturated fat yet high in protein, soyabeans contain significant amounts of "nature's relaxant" magnesium and essential omega-3 fatty acids. Not every one is a big Tofu fan though! Our chew is a sweet way to get some soya into your diet.

Nut & Seed Chews with Sesame

As well as adding their unique nutty taste, sesame seeds are a good source of minerals such as manganese, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1, zinc and dietary fiber. Sesame seeds contain two unique "lignan" fibres i.e. sesamin and sesamolin. Lignans have been shown to have a cholesterol-lowering effect.
