 Our Objective

To provide tasty and nutritious food & gentle but effective exercise and activities. to the public and to businesses. We want individuals to  enjoy our products as part of their own strategy to achieve a healthy lifestyle and overall wellbeing.

  

Our food products include savoury and sweet goods. As our name "East2West" suggests, we have brought combined Eastern (e.g. Japanese) and Western influences. For example, we make Sushi, originally a Japanese dish, but we have added Western ingredients such as locally sourced beef and free range chicken. These ingredients are cooked not raw. 

 

Similarly our exercise and activities are based around Chinese and Japanese  practices such as Tai Chi and Calligraphy. But we teach using understandable Western terminology. We don't mystify with vague references to "chi power" and other ambiguous Chinese concepts.

 

We included "Wellbeing" in our company name to indicate that our products can help individuals to achieve health and wellbeing! The balancing of the different aspects in our own lives such as eating a varied, nutritious, diet and balancing work and family commitments with fun activities contributes to this. 

 

Our Products & Services

 

Foods We make and supply a range of Sushi and Japanese influenced foods. We supply quality hand made dishes for every occasion from casual Buffets through to Fine Dining events. For buffets our speciality is Sushi as it is delicious but easy to eat as "finger food". Our Sushi is suitable for private functions, corporate events or just a quiet night at home. We offer a full catering service or just our nutritious food for you to serve and enjoy on your own.

 

It's Not All Raw Fish!

 

We would like to mention that our most popular Sushi includes cooked ingredients such as Chicken or King Prawn. Many people mistakenly believe that Sushi  must include raw fish. We do use raw fish - but this is made to order. Sushi can actually include cooked or raw ingredients. The only certainty about Sushi is that it will include rice. For our own Sushi you can add that it will be made by hand with love!

 

Sushi Making Courses Great fun as either a private or corporate event and of course you get to eat what you make! We teach 1:1 and upwards to larger groups.

 

Tai Chi & Qi Gong. You can learn about the difference that Tai Chi and Qi Gong (Chi Kung) can make to your own health and wellbeing  on our Tai Chi page. We currently offer private tuition as well as bespoke courses and one-offs for schools, offices and any group of people who would like to experience the benefits of Tai Chi for themselves.

Japanese Calligraphy We teach public and private classes. This is an enjoyable way to increase your concentration, exercise your mind, improve hand to eye coordination and much more. It can be quite meditative as well as great fun. And you get to make your own art work!

 

Commissions are also taken for your choice of caligraphy work. You may want to improve the feng shui of your home or you might just want a unique piece of art to enjoy on your own wall! Either way we would be happy to work with you to create a stunning individual art work.
